June saw my first event at Handmade Oxford, hosted at Waterperry Gardens, along with several of my New Ashgate Rising Stars nominees. Three hot days were spent in a marquee (mercifully I was by the entrance so was able to get both some sun and some breeze).

Then, earlier this month, I became a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Turners, one of the oldest livery companies in London. The Company has a strong philanthropic history and continues to do a great deal to support the craft of woodturning. I now have plenty of light reading(!) to keep me busy.
