The new year has seen some big changes in the workshop. November and December were busy, with preparations for three shows, including my first time at Handmade Chelsea. I had a good show, and had some great feedback from customers.

I took a good break over Christmas and decided to use the time to make substantial upgrades to the workshop. This period saw insulation going up, a new floor being laid, and a major reorganisation of all my tools and timber, including the installation of new racking. What this meant was that everything had to be temporarily stored under canvas (which if nothing else gave the cat a new place to hang out)

And so now it’s finished! Much better organised, much easier to keep tidy, and, hopefully, an awful lot warmer.
